| I bought this machine for a lower price. I got home and dropped the drum in my freezer. This machine works really well,it makes great softserve,and we love it!You simlpy leave the drum in the back of your freezer and you can have it anytime you want.Its a little noisy but that is no big deal.The motor does overheat after thirty min.,but it only takes thirty min to make the ice-cream.And it makes enough for three or four people to have plenty.It does not melt fast.One tip is after you mix your recipe of milk and cream and sugar,put the bowl in the freezer for about 10 min.that gets everything nice and cold,then start pouring it in the machine.It whips up so soft and creamy and tasty,and like I said, does not melt fast at all.The bottom line is this.Great price,great softserve,lots of fun.enjoy! | |

| To noisy to be in the same room while the machine is running. The whole preparation before you start to make the ice cream is ridiculous. you first have to freeze the drum for atleast 24 hours. You also have to make the ice cream mixture the day before because you also have to refrigerate that for up to a day. The machine takes way to long to make the ice cream. There is also a very small portoin of ice cream to eat. The ice cream melts very fast so you have to hurry up and eat all of the ice cream so it does not melt. When I made ice cream using this machine it took up to two hours before I could start to serve it. Plus if the drum isn't cold enough its just going to sit in the machine wasting your money because it's just using electricty to do nothing. So your electric bill is more expensive. I have to admit the ice cream does taste very good but its just to big of a hassle to make this ice cream. I rather just go to my ice cream parlor in my town and purchase a bigger and less hassle ice cream cone for two dollars. I rather buy another machine. |
